What the hell was an ex roller-skating champion sous chef doing in Cooperville? They had heard of his type before! Where had he come from? What did he really want with a small town like theirs?
Was he here to take their jobs, their women? He would bring crime, drugs and poorly made dog toys! Cooperville would never be the same again if they didn't do something about him.
The stranger slowly mounted the steps to the one and only boarding house in Cooperville. The sign in the window said simply 'vacancies - no roller-skates'. He turned the handle of the large wooden door and entered the hallway.
'I knew you'd show up eventually, if I waited long enough' a low, sultry voice said from the shadows.
The stranger didn't need to look across the room to know who spoke. He'd recognise that voice anywhere. He purposely kept his back to the voice and said 'How you doin baby, it's been a while?'
